“Zappenduster!” is a campaign by the Round Table on the topic of “Avoiding energy and water cut-offs” in the German cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven.
The Round Table is an initiative by swb in cooperation with: the Action Group for Unemployed Citizens (Aktionsgemeinschaft arbeitsloser Bürgerinnen und Bürger e.V.), Bremen Social Services Department (Amt für Soziale Dienste Bremen), the Senator of Bremen for the Environment, Construction and Traffic, the Senator of Bremen for Social Affairs, Youth, Women, Integration and Sport, the Debt Counselling Centre (Fachzentrum Schuldenberatung Bremen e.V.) , the Jobcenter Bremen, the Jobcenter Bremerhaven, the Bremerhaven Social Services Department (Sozialamt Bremerhaven), the Bremen Consumer Advice Centre (Verbraucherzentrale Bremen e.V.) and the Association for Inner Mission in Bremen (Verein für Innere Mission in Bremen). All parties involved have committed to this cooperation and work together to provide the individuals concerned with rapid and transparent assistance so that they can avoid energy cut-offs in the future and better deal with social hardship.
